Osteoarthritis (OA), a painful condition that affects the joints, can impact the activities of daily living, such as climbing stairs or opening jars. Symptoms include pain commonly in hands, hip, knees, feet and ankles and usually related to activity of the joint; limited joint movement; joint cracking or creaking often accompanied by pain; tenderness and swelling; and stiffness after periods of inactivity. If you suffer from these symptoms, you may be eligible to participate in one of our research studies of investigational medication for the treatment of osteoarthritis pain.
